This is not a class, no instructor will be available. You will need to work on your projects in a self-guided capacity.
Use OGMS equipment and work space to complete projects and enjoy a supportive & creative environment. This Open Studio time is available to members & non-members who have completed at least two basic metalsmithing fabrication projects, and who can use the torch without direct supervision. Bring your unfinished projects, materials and design notes to get some stuff done without the distractions of home.
Attendees must be able to use a torch without instructor supervision. No Kiln work, casting or lapidary equipment is available during Open Studio.
We cannot accomodate children or guests. Please arrange for necessary childcare prior to reserving your space, thank you
Cancellation policy No refunds for cancellations. If registrant must cancel due to medical emergency or natural disaster conditions. (fire, flooding etc), credit will be extended to the next available class session. Please check your calender for availability before reserving class space. We will not provide make-up classes for lack of childcare or scheduling conflicts.

Open Studio is available for OGMS members & class attendees that have taken our Silversmith or other metals classes. No instruction is available for this studio time, attendees must be able to work on their projects without supervision. This is an opportunity to complete your projects without distractions of home, and have access to our equipment No kiln use or lapidary are available for Open Studio. NO OPEN-TOE SHOES! Please wear comfortable clothing that is of natural fibers. Be sure to mark your tools & materials clearly.
